Sustained Oustanding A Level Results

Advanced Level and BTEC National Results - Summer 2018

  • Sustained outstanding examination results from Steyning Grammar School’s Sixth Form College students, record 98.8 % pass rate at A Level.

  • Over 79% of grades at A*-C at A Level.

  • 100% pass rate in 29 A level subjects and 5 Applied BTEC courses.

  • Exceptional attainment in Sciences, Maths, English and work related qualifications.

  • 26% A*-A grades; in Physics 42%, English Literature 48%, Maths 32%.

  • Excellent value added progress.

  • Prestigious progression destinations and offers at highly sought after research based universities including Oxbridge.

As one of the largest comprehensive School Sixth Forms in the South East offering a breadth of 37 A level or equivalent courses across the ability range, we are delighted with our continued excellent Year 13 results. Head teacher, Mr Nick Wergan shares;"We are delighted to post record A Level results again at Steyning Grammar - congratulations to all our students and thank you to our fantastic staff team. In facilitating subjects, the percentage of students with A*/A grades include, Maths 32%,Further Maths 29%,Biology 26%,Chemistry 24%,Physics 42%,English Literature 48% and English Language 29 %.
