Over two thirds of our students come to school by bus or walk. West Sussex County Council run school bus services for qualifying students in the catchment area. Where a parent/carer makes the choice to send their child to a school that is outside the usual catchment area, they will be liable to meet any transport costs that may be incurred to get their child to school.
For students living in the Findon, Worthing and Lancing areas, Compass Travel operate two dedicated public service routes during term time. Information relating to the 740 and 743 routes can be found here.
For students living in the Lancing/Sompting areas, the school has arranged for a minibus to provide transport to the Rock Road site - seats are limited. If you wish to be considered for a place on this bus, please contact the Business Manager on firstname.lastname@example.org.
For students living in Shoreham, Southwick, Portslade areas, public service routes are available via Brighton and Hove Buses website.
Students who live in the Pulborough area are able to travel using Compass bus routes.
Sixth Form students within the catchment area may be able to purchase a concessionary seat on one of the West Sussex County Council bus routes. Regrettably, we do not have sufficient parking capacity for Sixth Formers to park on site. More information relating to Post 16 transport can be found on the West Sussex County Council website.
For students who wish to cycle to school, covered bike racks are available at the front of the school by the Shooting Field entrance.
